SketchUp

SketchUp is used to model buildings and sites quickly in 3D. The training covers drawing and Push/Pull, components, materials, scenes and sending views to LayOut for sheets.

Syllabus

• Navigate the model and draw edges and faces
• Shape forms with Push/Pull, Offset and Follow Me
• Move, rotate, scale and copy geometry
• Organise the model with groups, components and tags
• Apply materials, styles and shadows
• Set scenes and section planes
• Model simple terrain and place a site model
• Send views to LayOut for plans, dimensions and sheets
